Pay on Certification

Ever paid for Training and Certification for a student sign up for a course only for them to find out they are medically unfit to dive, unable to meet the swim requirements or simply fail to turn up to the course because they could not make it. ISC is the first training agency to offer pay on certification. This offers a number of benefits:

Cashflow
As you are not paying upfront for  training material and Certification until the student has completed the program and is ready to be certified. This means that you wont have to pay upfront for these material until the student had completed the program.

Refunds
While some agencies charge upfront and don't offer any refunds or just a credit to the dive centre or professional, ISC  you only pay on certification which means any training issued to you students is at no cost. This saves any hassles with terms about refund not including online training which are associated with some agencies or having to get credit from them

More Business

As there is no cost in issuing training with ISC, this allows you to issue training to students. This open up the opportunity to issue training to students who are curios about a program. They can read and complete the quizzes which will give them a better understanding of what the benefit of the program is.

Simple Instructor Cross over

Why is the Cross Over So Simple?

When developing ISC, we recognized that the dive industry already possesses a set of Standards endorsed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), which serves as the foundation for Training Standards across all training agencies. We also acknowledge that instructors holding an ISO equivalent certification are already equipped with the necessary teaching skills. Hence, we designed our standards to be outcome-based, granting instructors the flexibility to choose how to teach a skill while adhering to our standards and recommended sequence. This approach enables SSI, PADI, CMAS, RAID or any other ISO Complaint agency instructor to teach Open Water Students in their accustomed manner evaluated as competent by the instructor, the standard is met.

To illustrate this concept, let's consider the mask-clearing skill. While some agencies may specify a particular method for executing this skill, at ISC we provide a suggested approach. However, we understand that an instructor may have their preferred teaching method, or a student may feel more comfortable with a specific technique. Regardless, as long as the skill's objective is effectively demonstrated by the student and evaluated by the instructor, the standard is met.

Cross over Program involves:

✓ Online*

✓ Takes approximately a day

✓ Free for all dive centres and instructors

✓ Instructor membership is waived for the first year

ISC has made the crossover process simple while continuing to meet internationally accepted standards and protocols due to our outcome-based training Standards. Our crossover requires the following:

✓ Online registration

✓ Online medical screening (medical clearance may be required if you indicate a yes to any of the questions)

✓ A current ISO recognised instructor certification e.g. PADI, SSI, RAID, BSAC, NAUI, SDI, PSS, PDIC, etc., to be uploaded.

✓ Current Status within the last 6 months with an existing agency

✓ Instructor must not have any quality assurance or liability claims within the last 12 months (Screenshot required)

✓ Pass the online standards exam (25Q)

✓ > 100 dives logged

✓ > 60 hours underwater

*An ISC Instructor Trainer will verify the information online and will monitor the crossover, they may interview the candidate, and if they believe that a practical assessment is required, they will discuss this with you.
